Something something bitchy zebra goddess and vines.

Characters

Astara

The bitchy zebra goddess in question. The protagonist. Overslept a few hundred years, and then woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Sinan

The reason Astara woke up in such a bad mood. Local tribesman who decided to kill Astara when it started raining fire on his village. Neglected to bring anything but a blessed knife. Kind of an idiot.
Previously a lion, currently being transmogrified into a mixed labor/combat monster.

Diyil

A mongoose. The spunky girl sidekick.

Minor Characters

None of note?

Mechanics

Mana

Doing interesting things takes mana. It grows back fairly slowly.
Apparently this can be sped up if the local infrastructure is repaired or rebuilt.

Magic

Astara can do magic. Exactly what magic she can do has not been well-explained in the quest. Among her known powers:

  • Create homunculus. Animates a slow but strong construct of vines. Requires a fairly large quantity of vegetation. Fairly cheap.
  • Create minion. Warps her chosen victim into a mana-infused monster. Requires lots of mana, plus a few days.
  • Bind things with vines
  • Bless / Blight land
  • Enhance self. Astara can spend mana to temporarily boost her abilities, such as speed or strength.
  • Regeneration
  • Weather control

To-Do List

  • Repair local mana flow
  • Investigate dying tree
  • ???
  • Subjugate locals
  • Nap
