Our protagonist. Illiterate, lost and absolutely adorable.
Vinnie
Some sort of intelligent talking animal. Species and specifics about intelligence unknown
Ms. Big
Freckled, glasses-wearing, vaguely sinister and also absolutely adorable. May or may not be related to why Pen is where she is.
Markus
Security guard for the facility Pen woke up in. Scruffy and heartless, he ignores Pen's puppy-eyed pleas for release.
Ralph
He's a dog. He wears sunglasses. That seems to be about it.
Jesstar
A bat. Possibly female?
