Tank commander Jacqette L. Jaxx wakes up without her tank, her rank, or her crew after a mission gone wrong. She must go behind enemy lines to recover her squad and defeat the forces of the cthulian Mad Legion.

Major Characters

Commander Jacqette L. Jaxx

Our protagonist, Jackie to her friends. Part of the 21st generation of "dittos" cloned from her template. Was demoted to Major after losing her squad and the entire 3rd armored division on operation "Maveric," but has since regained her rank (and tank, and some of her crew).

Lauren "Lefty" Lincoln

The driver of Jaxx's crew. Has a cybernetic arm and more cyberware in her head. Is definitely not called "Beep Beep."

Shelly Springfield

The scout for Jaxx's crew. Was imprisoned on charges of murdering a Vitacorp council member after her escape from the Ilithid base. Bit of a xenophobe and a loner.

Gunner

The eponymous tank. Runs on energy cores. Can be field modified.

Supporting Characters

Doc Mitchell

Human chief medical officer of Strangelove Base. Keeps patching Jackie up after missions.

Master "Kaz" Kazinski

Dwarven head weaponmaster of Strangelove Base. Makes new toys for Jaxx to test, which she then blows up.

Commander Duke Bradshaw

Commander of Strangelove Base. Currently serving a life sentence for treason on Gnosticus III.

Felicia "Fuse" Stone

A mercenary hired by Jaxx. Explosives and pyrotechnics expert. Equipped with a wrist flamer and medium armor.

Jenga & Vi

A brother/sister pair of Vorticon mercenaries. Taught Jaxx the Vorticon Vigor ability during an exhaustive "training session." Jenga (male, medium armor) wields machine guns akimbo, while Vi (female, heavy armor) uses a battleaxe + jet-booster pack.

Old Man

??? A confused old man rescued from the Ilithid base. Keeps calling Jackie "Billy." Jaxx lost track of him in the Ilithids' home dimension. Oops.

K-Zel

An alien Jaxx rescued from a Mad Legion patrol on planet Krodacia. Now works for Vitacorp as an ambassador of her people.

Frankie

A ditto stripper from the Guns 'n Roses bar. Secretly a double agent?

Head Commander Bishop

Another Vitacorp commander sent to preside over Shelly's trial. Has assumed command of Strangelove Base after Commander Bradshaw's arrest.
