A Illinois fireman, Joanne is questing to get into the Jägers, the investigative branch of the Fire Brigade. Tough as nails, not very feminine. Works at the 81st precinct
Doctor Ashcroft
A UK born pathologist working at the county coroner.
Captain Smythe
The captain of Joanne's squad. A dick.
Johnny
The 81st precinct radio operator on the third shift, same as Joanne.
Kurt
It's a mistery. (Well not really, he's Joanna's weirdo neighbor)
Biax
Joanna's mechanic.
Groups
S3K corporation
The company that controls the Wire and by extension pretty much everything.
Fire Brigade
A subcontractor for S3K given the task of locating and exterminating furries.
FB/Jägers
The investigative branch of the Fire Brigade.
Furries
People who wish to be animals and as a side effect of the Wire can become such.
Data Angels
A notorious group of wirejacks, who manage to crack the worksafes every now and then.
